Jim Popovich, Owner

Over 30 years' experience in the flooring industry. The best part of my job is working with our crews and having all the pieces of a project come together for our customers. It's very rewarding.

David Biviano, Founder 1980

David grew up in the flooring business started by his parents. At age 6, he

swept the warehouse and helped in the showroom. By the time he graduated

from Ohio University, he had learned every aspect including managing the

warehouse, installation and sales. After college he served in Africa as a Peace

Corps volunteer, he then received his MBA from Johns Hopkins University

and returned overseas working for USAID. In 1980 he returned to assume

the family business. David is married with 2 sons and 3 grandchildren.

David's goal is for every customer to be thrilled with their new floor and

for Biviano's to have met their expectations from product selection

to installation.

Rachael Updyke/ Purchasing Manager

Over 27 years of experience working here at Biviano Carpet One. I make sure everything gets ordered, tracked and received for all of our customers. My favorite part of the job is working with Max, our store dog, who loves to greet and do tricks for our customers!

Kalyn Schmitt/ Sales Manager

Over 5 years' experience working in the flooring industry. I have my Business Management degree. My favorite product is hardwood flooring! And the best part of my job is helping customers bring their visions to life!

Jennifer Betts/ Sales Associate

Over 4 years' experience working with customers to select new flooring, countertops and blinds for their home. My favorite part of my job is Backsplashes and Showers.... or anything to do with tile!

Grace Popovich/ Kitchen Designer

I am an Interior Designer. I graduated from Liberty University and joined our family business in 2022. I love designing kitchens! My favorite part of the job is working with customers at all kinds of different budgets or challenges and creating the kitchen of their dreams!

Logan Popovich/ Estimator

I enjoy working alongside my dad and meeting customers in their homes to look at their projects and see how we can help them. My favorite product: Looselay Luxury Vinyl. It's Amazing!

Luke Popovich/ Sales Associate

I enjoy being a part of a team and working with people to help them find the right product for their home. My favorite hobby is golf.

Joe Holecko, Sales Consultant for Residential &

Commercial Flooring  

Joe joined Biviano Carpet One in 2010. He is a true

professional bringing 38 years of experience in flooring

installation and sales. He specializes in residential and

commercial flooring sales. He is married, the proud father of

five children and six grandchildren. Joe was raised in Lake

Milton and graduated from Jackson Milton High School.

David Rosenberger

“Rosie” is the newest member of the Biviano Carpet One

Family. He is our Warehouse Manager. Rosie loves getting

away to go camping with his wife. Rosie also has a

hobby of landscaping.

Janet Hood, Accounting

Janet joined Biviano Carpet One in 1991. She was raised in

Lake Milton OH and graduated from Jackson Milton High

School. She is married with two sons and three

grandchildren.

Lorijo March, Accounting

Lorijo joined Biviano Carpet One in 2007. She was born and

raised in Warren, OH and graduated from Howland High

School. She is married with three daughters.

Sarah Herrick, Sales Consultant for Interior Design,

Residential Flooring & Insurance Replacement

Sarah joined Biviano Carpet One in 2016. She graduated

from Kent State University with an Interior Design degree.

She especially enjoys working with customers to help them

make their vision of home become a reality. Sarah married

in the Fall of 2016 and is from Canton, OH.
